This past couple of weeks I have really really been confronted with the issue of racism. In my face - as direct attacks. Now let me make it clear - you DON'T grow up in South Africa and NOT turn out a racist. Really yes. You DON'T. See - healing takes time and over the generations (taken into account our upbringing etc) we have become natural racists. BUT - God is so GREAT that He HEALS even the worst racist ever.
If we look at the Word of God - it really gives a clear indication about superiority (or not) of different races according to HIM. And this is found in Acts 17:26 - And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Now WHAT is so difficult to understand about this? We all have limited levels of tolerance, but to link that to RACE is just not how it works if you REALLY want to be a child of God. If HE sees all equal - why don't you just go with it.
Herewith an link to a precious document I have worked through a few years ago. I must warn that it cuts deep, and that it took me a few weeks to work through to the stage where I could really honestly repent on behalf of myself and the bloodline I came from. Eversince, I have "visited" the document with intervals when the Holy Spirit reveals to me that I'm heading for my "old" ways again.
I have this week "lost" a very great precious friend because of the fact that I REFUSE to see other races as "NOT HUMANS". I NEVER delete people from my Facebook, because I believe that God speaks through me powerfully. This was, however, one of those times where I could just not bare the HATRED that radiated anymore. I will keep praying for ALL nations and colours to re-unite as children of our LIVING God.

Curse me if you want, just remember - every word of hatred and disgust aimed at me will be going through God's admin System and will be recorded. I pray that - if you have to hate me - you will find time to repent before the great day of Judgement.
Heavenly Father - Great Great Creator of ALL mankind, I humbly thank You for the difficult road You have allowed me to walk in my seeking of Your Love and Truth. I pray that You will heal the wounded hearts reading this prayer and I thank You for Amanda Buys for all she and her ministry has accomplished through the working of Your Holy Spirit in me and in those around me.
Father, I ask You to let your Spirit manifest in me when the arrows are shot at me, so that I can remove them in the Spirit and send a Blessing back to that person. Father, I am not perfect and You know it, thank you that I can have the will to re-visit the prayer (sometimes more than often), and keep my heart clean from degrading a fellow-creation of You.

DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS WHEN YOU ARE BEING CONFRONTED BY DEMONS
Sometimes I wonder why people don't see satan coming? I must admit that he sometimes surprizes me too, Yet, I have grown spiritually to hear and sense from the Holy Spirit when something is not right. People always ask me how do I know something is from satan.
Well....
Let's see - have you ever watched something and then, out of the corner of your eye you see "something" passing? Usually looks like a shadow? Well - that's a demon!
Let's see - have you ever been just falling asleep or asleep already when you suddenly felt a pressure on your chest and you can't breath and you can't scream and it seems like your partner next to you is totally unaware of what is going on? It presses you down and you just know something is NOT normal? Well - that's a first hand demonic attack!
Let's see - have you ever walked around in your yard and it feels like "something" just walked through you? Don't mention the chills that sometimes go hand in hand with it? Well - that's demonic activity and sometimes even a human spirit astral travelling to where you are.
If this ever happened to you - no need to worry because - what you have in Christ and God and the Holy Spirit is MUCH greater and stronger and more AWESOME than satan will EVER by able to have or do.
How do you get rid of this? Well, some like to state that ONLY a living relationship with Jesus will do the final chasing away - although I beg to differ with this, because in my early days as being a "luke" warm chruch going believer - the Holy Spirit powerfully resqued me from satan's hand. You will, however have to follow up and commit to Jesus once you call on Him to resque you!! Don't wait because once you turn to Jesus and turn away again, satan will just increase his effort to get you and scare you and ruin your life!
Jesus will run to assist whenever you call on Him, but be sure to start a living relationship with the Real Jesus.

Why was Adam and Eve sent from the garden of Eden?
Well, the most common answer I get when asking this question is: Because of their sin by eating of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil.
WRONG ANSWER
See, if this was your answer too, you have been brainwashed to believe that even since the beginning of the Bible, God is a God that points a finger at us and that's that. But I have come to know Him as a God of Protection. A God that cares so much for us that He will do whatever is needed to Protect us from even worse evil.
So what is the correct answer? This is the scripture I can give as an answer, the ONLY answer to the question:
Ok so - the serpent got his share of what was due, Adam would work hard to earn a living and Eve would bear children etc etc etc. The next verse after God gave what was due is:
Genesis 3:21 - Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Now people - if you are remotely like I am, you WILL NOT make clothes to someone you are still a bit upset with?
And then we read the nice part of the story -
Genesis 3:22 - And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Aha - did you get that? Did you get it? God sent man out from the garden of Eden BECAUSE He wanted to PROTECT them from dying for ever in a sin-state through eating of the tree of EVERLASTING life!!!
Now this changes the picture because Jesus then came and became the Tree of Life for us.
How does this change my view of God - Well - when I first read this few verses I asked God what He wanted me to see. He said: My child - if you put a hedge around your pool - you do it because you want to protect your children from swimming and drowning - not because they may not swim!
Thus - the point I want to make is that God is a God of protection and whatever He does - even though it does not make sense - He does it to protect us.

Prevented from flying due to dead weight holding us back
This morning I saw one of those ants with wings. It was struggling to move forward on the floor. Upon closer inspection I saw that it had two tiny (if I say tiny, I mean TINY) ants stuck to it's rear leg. I took a small piece of paper and lifted the flying ant up to see if I can assist. Then I saw that the two small ants were DEAD. Yep - they got stuck via a piece of web. I removed the dead ants and the small piece of web, and immediately - the ant took off and flew away!
Then the Holy Spirit reminded me of some verses in the Bible which reads:
Isaiah 5:18 - Woe to those who draw [calamity] with cords of iniquity and falsehood, who bring punishment to themselves with a cart rope of wickedness
and
Psalm 2:3 - Let us break Their bands [of restraint] asunder and cast Their cords [of control] from us.
and
Psalm 119:61 - Though the cords of the wicked have enclosed and ensnared me, I have not forgotten Your law.
Friends - do you know how many times, when we question why we cannot just take off and fly spiritually, we must just look intensely and remove the DEAD weight from us?
What can the DEAD weight be? Well - I know that the number one cause is unforgiveness! Our wonderful Brother Jesus says that, if we do not forgive, our Father will not forgive! Thus - thrust the DEAD weight off and take off and fly!!!
